Festival is for all: Martine Armand
“Film Festival is for common audience ,not for the professionals”, said Martine Armand, International Film Curate and Consultant, in the Open Forum, held at the Mohan Raghavan pavilion, New Theatre, today (Dec.11).
She was replying to the film critic V.Rajakrishnan’s comment - film festivals should be opened only to the professionals, critics and scholars in the film industry.
Lorey De Lacharriere Barber, Film Curate from France, opined that more regional Films should be included in Festivals.
Today’s Open Forum was based on the topic ‘Identity of Film Festivals’. Naoh Davis, film critic U.Radhakrishnan were also present.
